Welcome to the Dayton Area Center of Practice where our mission is to support resident educators, mentor teachers, and educational leaders during the Ohio Resident Educator Transition Program. We are dedicated to the design and pilot testing of systems of training and support that build and deepen teacher knowledge and practice. The purpose of our work is to assist the Ohio Department of Education and our educational partners in the development of the Ohio Four-Year Teacher Residency program scheduled to begin in the 2011-2012 school year.

The Dayton Area Center of Practice is a partnership involving the Montgomery County Educational Service Center, the University of Dayton School of Education & Allied Professions, and the Wright State University College of Education & Human Services.
